Q: Can I rent my property out?

A: Yes, of course... Villa Sol can offer your property to their customers for the times you are not in the property.

Q: How much does Villa Sol charge for renting out my property?

A: Villa Sol charges 20% of the net income, cleaning and linen supply is charged extra from the client.

Q: When is the best time of the year for us to rent out the property?

A: Easter week and obviously in the summer season which is the months of July, August and September each year. This is the Spanish and most of Europe’s’ holiday period.

Q: How much can my property produce in a season?

A: This depends on the property; a nice 2 bedroom property in a complex with a pool and near to the sea can produce anything between €2.000 and €5,000 in one year if the property owners do own bookings, together with Villa Sol bookings.

Q. Take booking on my own??

A: Yes... many of our property owners manage to let their properties to friends, relatives, work colleagues, employees... etc, charging according to the season and length of time they want to stay, this can make a great deal for the property owner covering off season times.

Q: How much can I charge if I book my apartment to my own clients?

A: We will give you a recommended price list and this will give you a base to work from, what you decide to charge is entirely up to you.

Q: Where do my clients pay?

A: To you directly in the U.K or at arrival in our office at the key collection time. (If we are to collect monies on your behalf you must let us know the amount you want us to charge.  You must also let us know when you make the booking what you need from us; cleaning, linen, airport transfer, car hire...

Q: Do I have to pay Villa Sol in this case?

A: You pay us the requested services... cleaning, linen... and for the co-ordination of all these services we charge
(GUEST FEE charge for season 2005 per booking 20.-€).

Q: How does Villa Sol pay the income to us when Villa Sol rents to their clients?

A: We pay the income into your bank account within the rental period

Q: Can we come within the summer season and use our property?

A: Yes... but you must place a booking and always ask Villa Sol the availability. (Villa Sol has the first right to bookings). This request can be done by fax or E-mail to our booking co-ordinator and once you send the request we will answer you within 24 hours confirming the availability.

Q: Do I have to pay anything to Villa Sol when I book my own property to myself...?

A: No... Only if you ask for specific services like cleaning, linen supply or laundry, these prices vary depending on the size and type of property you own.

Q: Can I rent a Car through you or can you arrange transfers from the Airports in Alicante or Murcia?

A: Yes we can organize car hire and transfers at good rates.
